FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you looking for answers?

What kind of games do you sell?

+

Glad you asked! We create a mix of so-called mystery games and escape games—but with a unique twist. Our games aren’t just games—they’re part of a story. By playing a series of interconnected games (a game series), you don’t just solve challenges; you’re piecing together a larger narrative. This puts you and your co-players at the center of an exciting, fun, and/or thrilling story.

What are “mystery” and “escape” games?

+

great question! in mystery games, you solve a mystery or mission. you do this by gathering and analyzing clues and evidence hidden in documents, images, audio files, videos, websites, and more.

in escape games, the goal is to help a character (or yourself) escape within a set amount of time.

our games are a mix of both. even when you’re solving a mystery you have a limited amount of time—usually 24 hours.

What is a game series?

+

A game series consists of several interconnected games that together form an exciting, fun, and/or thrilling story. This way, you don’t just solve mystery games—you become part of a larger story where you, the player, are at the center.

How many games are in a game series?

+

Just like episodes in a tv series, a game series can be made up of several seasons, with each season containing 3–8 games.

Can I play just one game without having to play an entire series?

+

Yes, absolutely! Every game can be played as a stand-alone.

It says I need a mobile phone to play. Why?

+

Our goal is to give you the best possible experience. Some games require a mobile phone because the player may need to make or receive calls or text messages during the game. Keep in mind that in these games, you’ll need to verify your phone number.

It says I need to verify my email address. Why?

+

Some games require an email address so we can send material, instructions, and other information during your game.

How long does it take to play a game?

+

Oh, that varies from game to game. For each game, you can see the estimated time we believe the game will take to play.

What is the delivery time?

+

Well, it depends. We deliver games in three different ways:

  1. Physical: We send everything or parts of the game by post. We ship within 24 hours of your order. After that, delivery time depends on your postal service.
  2. Online game: You can start playing immediately since nothing needs to be shipped.
  3. Print & play: Perfect for the impatient. As soon as you purchase the game, the materials we would normally send physically are emailed to you right away.

Why don’t you use AI?

+

We think AI can be a fantastic tool, but we also believe these kinds of games are more enjoyable when you know they’re created by real people. It’s like reading a good book—you want to know who the author is.

We also want to encourage human creativity, which we believe is unbeatable. That’s why we don’t use any AI-generated material in our games. Everything—from game ideas and stories to images, videos, and articles—is created by us or other human creators. We use real actors and traditional designers, and programmers to create games and stories that entertain in every way.

It says I must be connected to the same network - what does that mean?

+

For example, suppose you activate the game on your computer and then you need to use your phone for parts of the game - then both your computer and phone must be connected to the same network. This means that if you have two networks at home (e.g. one for the family and one for guests) then make sure that both your phone and computer are connected to the same network.

Do you delete all my data once Ive completed a game session?

+

Yes, if you haven’t registered an account with us, your data will be deleted immediately after the game is completed. This is done for gdpr reasons.

Note: you can play most games with us without registering an account. However, this means you won’t have access to information (articles, history, etc.) from previous games. As such, your ability to play an entire game series is limited.
